Another highly successful meet:- Before our start time of 9am one car park was amazingly almost full with very early arrivals but then came a heavy rain shower & incoming traffic slowed somewhat 'til about 9.50am, when the sun came out again. Almost immediately the incoming vehicles grew in numbers & in no time our second car park was full & we began putting vehicles into our new car parks!! The new Bike Park, worked well & whilst bike numbers were down due to the rain, there was a real hive of activity in that new area, helped undoubtedly by the new addition of a 2nd van supplied by our good friends at G & J catering. Once again, all manner of vehicles & bikes including all sorts of rare & exotic marques descended onto the show areas with highlights being a beautiful & rare Bizzarini race car, a newly imported 68 "General Lee" Dodge Charger signed by one of the original's series stars & once again a regular visitor bought his extremely rare & beautiful Brough Superior motorcycle! The sun continued to shine & vehicles & people came & went, with car numbers somewhere between 450 - 500 & bikes around the 150 mark & once again a HUGE amount of viewing public. The Charity's collection tins rattled all morn with people kindly donating & the collection was once again up this year, with a total of £1015 collected in those few hours, THANK YOU to all that gave.
Sit back & enjoy your peruse through this years pics, if you double click on an image it will present a larger view for you. If you came along & supported the event, THANK YOU, if you didn't, why not do so next year!!!
